Guide to the use of this famous British machine gun issued to U.S. Army personnel during World War I. Moderately edgeworn and soiled green wraps with black title and edge tears to head and base of spine. Binding firm. Some soiling and pencil notations in contents. All 16 black and white plates present. Fold-out plate present, but detached. Previous owner's name written at upper portion of front wrap: Lieut. Howard Caulkein (?).
