This book explores the different types of rosewoods found in the Asian region, with a particular focus on some of the most exploited Dalbergias. It includes comprehensive information on the taxonomy, species biology, population structure, threat status, and trade and conservation management measures to protect different rosewoods in Asia. This book also provides an in-depth overview of the current information available on the different species of Dalbergia, especially CITES-listed, contributing to the identification of the gaps in our current knowledge, and understanding about the efforts taken to address these gaps. The book can be a beneficial reference for policy makers, tropical tree breeders and researchers, students and scholars.
