As many of us can attest, it is difficult to watch the people we care about lose their way in life. When we notice our friends, children, and loved ones being led astray by others or by their own unique circumstances, it is not uncommon for us to become frustrated or disheartened when those closest to us begin to depart from the way we knew them to be. This can be doubly true for the faithful-as believers, what happens when our people begin to stray from God Himself? In Hand Him Over to the Enemy: How Does a Momma Do That?, author Krisan Markese answers this question and more. Instructed by God's voice to let her child go his way in the world, she grappled with doubt, fear, and failure on this journey to becoming secure in the knowledge that God's will over her and her son's life would be enacted. Just as Abraham needed only faith when asked to sacrifice his son Isaac, so should the parents, friends, spouses, and relatives of wandering people find their peace in the Lord. Complete with key Scriptures, personal anecdotes, guided prayers, and even song recommendations, this daily devotional seeks to remind readers that God can and will prevail over everything, and thereby put at ease the weary hearts of everyone who's watched a loved one wander. KRISAN MARKESE has been in full time ministry for nearly 40 years, ministering with her husband Pastor Ron Markese. Krisan was ordained thru Joan Hunter Ministries in 2014 and has recently been serving in her local church in southwest Florida. She is also and more importantly mother to Stephanie and Mychal and Nani to Aiden and Ryan. Krisan has served in many different capacities over her years of ministry including music, supervising missions trips, working with children, teens, young adults and adult ministries of all ages. Her passion is to draw others closer to our heavenly Father and give them insight as to how they relate to Him and He relates to them.
