small 1/2 by 1" sticker from "Fred Lockley, Rare Western Books." on pastedown. Ghost of a removed book plate on front pastedown. Back endpaper broken at spine but covers are still attached. Tiny remnant of a library plate on last free endpaper with the words "Date Issued" just visible but the plate is otherwise missing. No foxing. Spine bumped at top and bottom. Photo illustrations. Probably self-published, printer but no publisher noted on tp. "A story of pioneer life on the western slope of Colorado. Frontispiece of Chief Ouray and Squaw Chipeta.
