Holder of the Horses: A Family's Legendary Odyssey through Life
Jonny Sandgren has always been certain of his destiny: to carry on the cherished legacy of his grandfathers and father on his family's rugged Montana ranch. However, persuading his mother to let him forgo exploring life beyond the ranch and its myriad opportunities proves to be a formidable challenge - perhaps because she understands all too well the price of remaining.
Amara Morris, lovingly known as "Grams," shares a deep bond with Jonny and a fervent passion for the Morris ranch. During a late-night conversation, Grams entrusts Jonny with a hand-bound book penned by her, containing a story she has never fully divulged to anyone. Within its pages lie her personal narrative and an enthralling legend.
Embark on an exhilarating journey through the tribulations of life and ranching, as a series of momentous decisions leave behind a trail of profound discoveries, unwavering loyalties, and heart-wrenching sacrifices in this unrelenting land of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur. Holder of the Horses promises to leave readers both deeply satisfied and breathless.
