A timeless example of nonsense literature, HJBRL (first published in Bengali as HaJaBaRaLa) showcases the genius of Sukumar Ray. A world where handkerchiefs become cats, and a crow does accounting, nothing is as it seems. Featuring a wild array of characters that inexplicably come and go and give the oddest reasons for their actions, children will gravitate towards this classic tale that has been brilliantly reimagined by Charbak Dipta for a contemporary readership.

Charbak Dipta is a multiple award-winning and internationally recognised illustrator and comics creator. An alumnus of Jadavpur University, he has worked on more than 40 comic series, web comics, picture books, magazines and albums published in India and the US.
