This 328 pp. indexed book is a very detailed dissection of the Methodist Church in Kentucky, with this Vol. 2, being specific to the years 1820 to 1846. It thus is complete in and of itself, being written only after the author (a member of the Kentucky Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South) received much acclaim for Vol. 1. This title is #880 in Coleman's "Bibliography of Kentucky History". There is a prior owner's name atop the first blank flyleaf. This copy was in a Church Library, and has "Crescent Hill Methodist Church" stamped at the bottom of the first blank flyleaf, and the last blank flyleaf. There is a "roughed" area just inside the rear board, where a pocket was, BUT otherwise, there are ZERO other library markings inside or out (as appear on books in regular lending libraries).
