Dublin: Printed for the author by John Stockdale, 1803. Boston Revolutionary War patriot and Arnold Arboretum contributor Benjamin Bussey's copy with his oval printed bookplate on the front pastedown, and his circular inkstamp to title page. xliv pp. + folding map + 304 pp. + xxxvi pp. + [2] pp. + [4] folding pp. + 20 pp. 8vo., mottled calf with gilt spine ornaments, rules and gilt leather spine label. Joints cracked, label and spine chipped. First blank page and following half-title detached, laid in. Occasional light foxing. Map has closed tear at joint with no loss, and moderate foxing. Bussey, in addition to having served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War, was a merchant, farmer and horticulturist; his Forest Hills estate was eventually made part of Harvard's Arnold Arboretum.
