- Octavo, 8-1/2 inches high by 5-1/2 inches wide. Five volumes uniformly bound in black cloth titled in gilt on the spines. The covers are lightly rubbed and soiled with some minor staining. The heads of the spines are slightly chipped. 516 pages; 675 pages; 598 pages; 530 pages; and 542 pages. There is minor dampstaining to the bottom front corner of the first few pages of the second, third, and fifth volumes, and the bottom corner of the first few pages of the second volume are creased. There is a long tear along the front edge of page 53 of the first volume, without loss. Very good.
