1-320, 1-32 pages. Hardcover; H 12.75cm x L 8.25cm. Original green cloth well rubbed, board corners frayed with cloth nicked along fore-edge of rear board, light scuffing at spine ends and along joints, spine's gilt lettering suffers some rubbing but still fairly bright. Binding completely cracked between half-title and title page; some soiling along edges as well as to initial and terminal leaves. 32 page publisher's advertising section at rear with binding split evident between pages 16-17. Features a history of the Franco Prussian War from 1870 to 1871. OCLC cites a mere single copy held by the University of Texas at El Paso but with the publisher being Milner and Sowerby and dated 1875; UTEP catalog also notes a map which is not present with this copy. A fair copy of an apparently scarce book.
