Publication was suspended in October 1871 when , Dawson was stricken with a severe attack of congestion of the brain. Upon his recovery, in January 1872, publication resumed. Soc. of Boston; In 1858 by George Folsom, subsequently the Minister of the US to the Netherlands; From 1859-1865 by John Gilmary Shea, distinquished historian; From Jan- June 1866 by Henry R.
