Pictorial hardcover cloth binding clean, square and tight. A few library marks, ink mark on front endpaper, back pocket removed. DJ has remains of orange sticker on front cover, spine sticker, glued to endpapers. 145 pages, ages 12+. Hank is a teen with a chip on his shoulder - a surly high school senior in a town on the Connecticut coast - not yet a dropout or a delinquent. How he becomes a member of a gang of teen-age drifters - and the crisis in his life which provoked it, are boldly told in this story. Most young readers will identify with him as he makes his difficult journey back to a sounder appraisal of himself and his future. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
