Contemporary half calf, rebacked, signature of C[HARLES]. HILTON FAGGE, neat stamp of Guy's Hospital Library on title and Contents leaf, a very good copy. *With 23 papers, more particularly - THOMAS ADDISON On the Disorders of the Brain, connected with Diseased Kidneys; RICHARD BRIGHT Observations on Abdominal Tumours and Intumescence; illustrated by Cases of Renal Disease [ later collected in the 1860 New Sydenham Society publication - Clinical Memoirs On Abdominal Tumors And Intumescence. By The Late Dr. Bright, ed. By G. Hilaro Barlow.]. Several papers by BRANSBY COOPER, WILLIAM GUY, SWAINE TAYLOR, GOLDING BIRD, ASTLEY COOPER, PRIDGIN TEALE and others. CHARLES HILTON FAGGE [1838-1883], graduated MD from Guy's Hospital in 1863, demonstrator of anatomy from 1862 to 1866, Fagge became medical registrar of Guy's in 1866, assistant physician in 1867, and physician in 1880. He was for some years demonstrator of morbid anatomy, lecturer on pathology, and curator of the museum at Guy's and later edited the Guy's Hospital Reports.
