New shooters will appreciate approachable explanations and practical guidance, while seasoned enthusiasts and collectors will dive into detailed analysis, historical perspectives, and expert evaluations. From rifles and shotguns to handguns, muzzleloaders, airguns, optics, ammunition, and accessories, if it matters in the shooting sports, it’s here.
Packed with stories, reviews, and essential data from some of the industry’s most respected voices, this all-in-one volume remains the benchmark for firearm knowledge year after year.
IT’S ALL HERE:

· Comprehensive reports on the latest rifles, shotguns, handguns, and more
· A detailed gun catalog and buyer’s guide to help you make informed decisions
· Updated ballistics tables for practical reference
· Straightforward advice on choosing ammo, optics, and gear
Inside this edition, you’ll find a wide range of in-depth features that speak to every level of interest—from historic milestones like John Rigby & Co.’s 250th anniversary and the Guns of Robert Ruark, to modern standouts such as the HK MP5 and the hot new 338 ARC cartridge. Explore iconic firearm makers like Griffin & Howe, take a closer look at the legendary Manurhin MR73 revolver, and dive into stories on custom and engraved firearms, Club 21 Ruger No. 1 rifles, and the enduring appeal of the Mini-14. There’s also something for the hands-on enthusiast, with coverage of airgun hunting, reproduction firearms for reenactors and recreational shooters, and the latest deer rifles and loads, among many others.
Beyond the feature articles, each edition is packed with practical insight. The TESTFIRE section delivers thorough, real-world gun reviews, while REPORTS FROM THE FIELD keeps you up to speed on the latest rifles, shotguns, handguns, ammunition, reloading gear, and optics. And in ONE GOOD GUN, you’ll discover the firearms that carry meaning beyond their function—those that forge lasting connections between family and friends.
