A single accusation. A stolen identity. A life turned upside down.
When experienced financial adviser Sam Ringrose is suddenly dismissed and accused of fraud, his world collapses in an instant. Clients he never met, cases he never handled and decisions he never made are used against him. With no warning and no opportunity to defend himself, Sam is forced into a brutal fight to clear his name while watching his career, reputation and financial stability crumble around him.
As he confronts a flawed system that treats him as guilty until proven innocent, Sam is thrust into a year of relentless battles. He faces betrayal from colleagues, failed support from those he trusted and the crushing realisation that the truth alone is not enough. Forced to take exhausting night shifts in a factory to survive, Sam meets an unforgettable cast of characters who bring humour, chaos and unexpected friendship into the darkest period of his life.
In the middle of the turmoil, Sam loses his father, navigates family hardship and struggles to hold on to his sanity. Yet through perseverance, courage and the unwavering support of his loved ones, he discovers strength he never knew he possessed.
Told with honesty, warmth and sharp wit, Guilty Until Proven Innocent is the true story of one man’s fight against false accusations and a flawed system. It is a powerful exploration of resilience, family loyalty and the determination to reclaim a life torn apart by lies.
Perfect for readers of true crime, injustice memoirs and real life stories of survival, this book will leave you questioning how easily an innocent person can lose everything and how far they must go to win it back.
