Neuware - French artist Guillaume Bru�re works very fast, with energetic vibrant strokes, and and with an enormous output in short time. The human face and the portrait play a central role in his work. Among Bru�re's favorite places to draw are museum galleries in front of originals of the great masters. He has been seen at the Louvre in Paris, Munich's Alte Pinakothek, the Gem�ldegalerie in Berlin - and in recent years again and again at the Kunsthaus Z�rich. During his visits to the Kunsthaus, Bru�re has created some two hundred drawings, nearly forty of them based on a self-portrait by van Gogh alone. He has also been a frequent guest at the nearby Schauspielhaus, the city's major playhouse, to draw during rehearsals. This stunning, large-size volume features the entire body of drawings that Bru�re has made in Zurich.
