Store description

A long retired Librarian ( though very, very few are Ex Library, which I abhor), collected over the last 60 years or so,with an emphasis on good condition and scarcity. I aim always for the highest standards in packaging, mailing times selling my personal collection of approx. 2000 old and vintage books on many subjects and by many 'creative' writers. Collected over the last 60 years or so,with an emphasis on good condition and scarcity. I aim always for the highest standards in packaging, mailing times and accuracy of item description, as I was a professional bibliographer. To date, I have had almost nothing but praise for these. Two comments stand out as typical. " The book was exactly as described " and " The packaging of the book was almost bombproof " This is a down sizing exercise and and every book is very moderately priced for that reason, my inventory starting with low priced books and will be increasing later to more valuable ones in most subject and author categories.

Specialty

Antiquarian and vintage scholarly non fiction and first and early editions, but little low brow stuff.
