Guide Book Of Canadian, British, Australiana And New Zealand Coins (1965) by H.C. Taylor & Somer James ? Sold by Crappy Old Books From Dominion decimals to down-under oddities, this gloriously dated 1965 edition of Guide Book Of Canadian, British, Australiana And New Zealand Coins is the perfect companion for anyone who?s ever fished an old ha?penny out of a drawer and thought, ?Hmm, I wonder what this is worth?? Compiled by H.C. Taylor and Somer James for the Canadian Numismatic Publishing Institute (a name as weighty as the coins themselves), this well-thumbed gem offers catalog-style listings, valuations, and brief but earnest commentary on the coinage of four great Commonwealth nations?at a time when shillings still roamed the earth. Expect helpful charts, occasional typewriter misalignments, and that unmistakable mid-century optimism that believed coin collecting could be both educational and thrilling. Condition: Slightly musty, mildly misaligned, and proudly un-updated since 1965?perfect for completists, nostalgists, and anyone who still thinks in pre-decimal. Crappy Old Books: Unearthing forgotten references so you don?t have to mint your own. Note: This book appears to be three books in one: The Guide Book of Canadian Coins, Currency and Token, 1670-1965, seventh edition The Guide Book of Great Britain?s Modern Coins, 1797-1965, fourth edition The Guide Book of Australian and New Zealand Coins.…
