Decorated gold-stamped green cloth wraps, pictorial end papers. Back cover has some staining, front cover has one bumped corner, some cloth wrinkling on back and spine covers. Some tiny stains on page block edges. No writing inside. Over 250 color and black and white illustrations, including color fold-out maps. Color plates have foxing. Large map of Bangkok is on wax paper, and is pristine. Color plates are in art deco style, and have their protective slips. This is the kind of comprehensive travel guide made available to first-class travelers during the steamer travel era.
