pp. (8). With 5 illustrations & one printed plastic overlay sheet. Gruppo N (Gruppo Enne) was born from the ashes of Gruppo Ennea (meaning ?nine" in Greek), an association of artists founded in 1959 in Padua and formed by nine members, most of whom were students of the Faculty of Architecture in Venice: Tino Bertoldo, Alberto Biasi, Tolo Custoza, Sara Ivanoff, Bruno Limena, Manfredo Massironi, Milla Muffato, Gianfilippo Pecchini and Gaetano Pesce. Gruppo N was eventually to disband in 1964 due to internal disputes over their creative process. After a few months Massironi, Biasi and Landi founded the short-lived Gruppo Enne 65, which continued to work on the themes of op art and ambient environment processes. This is the catalogue of one of the few exhibitions staged by the group, held at the Galleria la Polena, Genoa, July 1965. Complete with the printed transparent overlay sheet which transforms the initial illustration into an Op-art visual experience.
