Neuware - Have you even been in a situation where you had to act according to your skin color 'Oreo' is a slang word for someone who is Black on the outside and White on the inside. This book hilariously describes how many Blacks and interracial people who pass for Black deal with growing up in a White culture that doesn't completely accept them and a Black society that ridicules them for not conforming to their social norms.Growing up White is a non fiction novella that takes you inside the culture of Black American citizens who belong to both White and Black society, yet feel like they belong to either. In a world where Black stereotypes unfairly aim their mark on Oreo's who think of themselves as being White, Oreo's are always in a dilemma constantly proving themselves to that belief. 2ND EDITION.
