Financial planners encounter all kinds of clients and cases . . . but rarely are they called upon to solve a murder. In Old Florida, gossip and intrigue hangs like Spanish moss in live oaks. Arthur, a local financial planner, makes a begrudging promise to provide financial advice to an eccentric orange grove owner. But before Arthur can finish sifting through the financial mess and develop a plan, he finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation. The case is riddled with problems. Locals are suspicious of him and hesitant to cooperate, estranged family members are in dire need of * and developers would have killed for the land before the real estate market shifted.
