Go beyond basic self-help for women and stop proving your worth through achievement, likability, and a million other forms of being “good.” It’s time to reclaim your wildness.

“A must-read for every woman swimming in perfectionism, pleasing, and performing, and who is looking for the permission to be her wildest, most beautiful self.”

—Sharon Podobnik, founder of The Center for Conscious Leadership and author of It’s Not (All) Your Fault

As a child, Heather Whelpley was confident, bold, and relaxed in who she was. She belted out Barbra Streisand tunes, dared to hold live snakes with no fear, and marched to the beat of a drummer all her own.

Until an all-too-common avalanche of rules told her to hold her breath and tuck herself in. Rules that said there was a “right” kind of body. That worth is tied to achievements. That we should prove, please, and perfect our way through life.

One day, deep realizations finally pushed her to break the rules she’d been handed to rediscover her beautiful and uniquely grounded wildness.

International speaker Heather Whelpley is a recognized thought leader who galvanizes women to reclaim their bold voice and unleash their authentic leadership—and life. Equal parts self-help inspiration and feminist memoir, Grounded Wildness explores the freedom that comes from rediscovering your true self by breaking the rules that have broken you.

With insightful reflection questions and applicable practices to help you embrace your own grounded wildness, discover how to:

• recognize which rules and standards were always meant to suppress your power.
• transform shame into power by releasing the weight of approval and validation.
• rewrite your story with main character energy and start living your truth, free from “should” and “supposed to.”
• shed the beautifully painted armor that separates the full radiance of you from what you present the world.
• stop swimming upstream against your true nature and follow your own path.

Fans of Heather’s award-winning perfectionism book, An Overachiever's Guide To Breaking The Rules, will love this intimate look into how to love yourself and take up the full space of who you are, with nothing to hide, cover up, or shove down.

It’s time to stop quieting the boldness of your voice and dampening the fire in your belly.

You are enough, worthy, and whole. And you get to make up your own rules for life.
