Paperback. In "Grokstar", the intense and cinematic architecture of Elon Musk's career is laid bare, tracing the psychological line from a traumatic South African childhood to the high-stakes battlegrounds of global industry. This speculative non-fiction biography explores how the original trauma of the Pretoria shadow and the brutal schoolyard ambushes of his youth forged an adversarial worldview, transforming a sensitive child into a ruthless engineer who views existence as a series of existential threats to be solved through First Principles thinking. From the high-pressure crucible of the PayPal Mafia to the near-collapse of Tesla and SpaceX during production hell, the narrative uncovers a man obsessed with absolute structural control and vertical integration, driven by the absolute certainty that he alone must build the ark to preserve the light of human consciousness. Far more than a standard business profile, this book delivers a gripping, techno-thriller analysis of a modern insurgent who repeatedly risked complete ruin to bend the trajectory of space travel, electric vehicles, and artificial intelligence to his singular will. It is a profound exploration of an extraordinary mind operating on the edge of genius and volatility, daring the reader to examine whether the civilization that survives the next century will look back on the man from Pretoria with ultimate gratitude or with the complicated horror reserved for those who were right about the danger but terrifying in their remedy. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.…
