After the tragic death of her teenage son, Susan Duke expereinced the painfully dark and unfamiliar valley of grief. GRIEVING FORWARD is the journey of a grieving parent, which combines Susan's personal story with insight to help any grieving parent. It is filled with well-written and powerful statements of comfort and hope. “It’s hard to see God’s perspective when your heart has been plowed by pain,” Susan writes. “But broken fields are where seeds of hope grow best.” Though she still copes with loss, Susan also lives with incredible joy. To all who grieve desperately, she assures: Hope is alive. Healing will triumph. This book is a deeply personal and compassionate guide in which Susan shares the insights she has gleaned on her journey toward healing.
Susan Duke is the bestselling author or co-author of fourteen books, including the God Things Come in Small Packages series, the Heartlifter series, and the bestselling Courage for the Chicken-Hearted and Egg-stra Courage for the Chicken-Hearted. A gifted communicator, she speaks at Christian conferences, retreats, and seminars with her unique blend of humor and heartfelt inspiration. She lives with her husband, Harvey, in East Texas.
