Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, uncommon upgraded binding of marbled paper covered boards three-quarter bound in leather. Spine is ornately decorated in gilt along with black labels. Exterior shows scuffing and soiling in leather is worn. Leather is also splitting at the top and bottom hinge points, edges and corners show bumps/wear. The interior binding is good and there are no hinge issues at the boards. Marbled end pages and pastedowns in front and rear are free of any bookplates or library markings. The title page has a name stamped twice along the top edge, no other markings found in the book, their handwriting. Paper is toned due to age and there is some scattered foxing and spotting present. The front board has some wiggle to it because of the splitting of the leather on the exterior, but the interior hinges are holding well.
