Sextodecimo in half brown calf over marbled boards, with gilt-stamped brown morroco spine label, gilt ruling to spine, cover leather bordered in blind tooling; front free endpaper clipped at top, leaving remnant of ink name (dated 1830), hinges cracked but holding, ink name on title page of second book. Text clean, but with a spicy scent. The two books bound together. "The Great Importance." states "The Twenty-Eighth Edition, Corrected," on title page.
