The Great Cello Solos is a cello solo sheet music collection selected and edited by renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. Bringing together seven essential short classical pieces in one attractive volume, it offers cellists a rewarding way to explore well-known repertoire through expressive and musically satisfying works that remain central to the cello tradition.
The book presents a refined selection of solo cello pieces in clear standard notation, making it suitable for personal study, learning, and performance. The collection balances lyrical and technically engaging music, with thoughtful editing that supports readability and musical interpretation while preserving the character and authenticity of these respected classical works across different musical styles.
Its value lies in the way it combines artistic depth with practical enjoyment.
