Synopsis
This is the Special ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers)edition of McCullough’s second book, after The Johnstown Flood, with a special second page inserted in the front with a statement by the author, an “honorary member, ASCE” with his printed signature, from Simon & Schuster (see scan). As such, it is a First Edition (thus) with SBN 671-21213-3. (However, this SBN doesn’t link to this particular edition on Amazon.) This hardcover and dust jacket are almost like-new, unopened, unread, unmarked, and unclipped (no price anywhere), but shows a bit of ageing with very light rubbing to the jacket extremities and slightly dusty-appearing outer edges of the pages—thus both book and jacket are in very good + condition. 636 pages including an index. Illustrated.
