Paperback. Autumn comes to Whisperwood along with a shy new neighbor - Hazel the hedgehog, whom everyone keeps at arm's length because of her prickles. When a wild night wind topples the Great Acorn Store and blows the entire winter harvest into thorny Bramblethorn Ravine, every brave attempt fails: Kiko, Bumble, even Shadowmane get turned back by the thorns. Only Hazel - the one neighbor nobody welcomed - can roll through unhurt. She saves the harvest carrying acorns and berries on her spines, Pip the squirrel runs the rescue chain, Glim lights the darkest tangle, and Bumble invents the "paw-five" so you can celebrate with a hedgehog. Theme: welcoming newcomers, and how what makes you different can be your gift This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
