Love is universal.
Suffering is universal.
Forgiveness is universal.
Faith is universal.
The emotions and experiences described in these pages could be anyone's. This is why this book is for you! Because when we are dealing with the challenges of life, it feels like our personal burden is heavier than anyone else's. If feels insurmountable, unrelatable, isolating. It feels, maybe, too shameful to share our thoughts and fears, so we compound it by bearing it alone. I want you to know that you are one of us: the survivors!
I hope these poems help you deal with whatever life put in your way!
I hope they give you the strength and the comfort of knowing that others, too, face hardships and heartaches, and that others, too, can benefit from hearing about your experiences.
I hope these poems inspire you to look at life's challenges from different angles and to share your struggles with others.
I hope and pray that your path is filled with love, light and grace, and wish you godspeed ahead toward our common destination: acceptance and inner peace!
With love,
Anca
