Six rhyming children’s stories with vivid, engaging illustrations depict the simple yet fabulous delight that families share by intentionally creating ALL IN fun. The first story Building the Stone House establishes the setting for the next 5 stories. And each story chronicle sheer joy felt by this real family and the deep love that binds them together.
Readers will soon discover that these stories can spark memories of their own unique traditions. The Our Traditions Your Way activity in the back of the book including The Birthday Parade and Handprint Hall, can be adapted for any family to bring alive their memories and creating activities to share. The addition of Seek & Find pages also allows for creative discovery as families hunt for pictures in the stories. In this MAGNIFICENT Stone House, Time is unselfishly shared, Wisdom is gained, Kindness prevails, as beloved Traditions are created.
Come on in. Capture the Spark! Make these traditions and memories your own!

About the Author
“Growing up in rural Wisconsin, running with Labradors through rolling fields, gathering wildflowers, visiting our kind neighbor’s farm, filling our home with music, and reveling in the beauty of each season was magical soil for growing imaginations and a deep love for the out of doors. Sharing this treasure with my husband, our children and their cousins was an immeasurable blessing.” Darcy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was a teacher for 35 years, a writer of children’s musicals, and is “grandma” to her cherished grandchildren.
Sue is Darcy’s sister! They loved growing up together in the peacefulness and beauty of the Wisconsin countryside. Now, they are loving chasing a dream together in their company, Singing Tractor Children’s Books, LLC. Sue graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Consumer Science, has a background in sales and marketing, and serves as their manuscript editor and business manager. Sue and her husband, Bob, their children and precious grandchildren currently reside in Wisconsin.
Aedan Peterson is an illustrator and visual developer born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He’s been busy for the last few years, illustrating The Story of God Trilogy, Pembrick’s Creaturepedia, The Timefall Trilogy and The Tree Street Kids books. He’s also delved into the world of animation working as a character designer and background artist for The Wingfeather Saga animated series. When he’s not painting trees with his wife or playing with his daughter, he can be found bird watching, or eating chips and salsa, or doing both at the same time.
