Fourth book in the last of the four early-20th-century series featuring adventuresome young Grace Harlowe & her friends as they went from high school to college, overseas to Europe, &, in this final series, back to the US for some adventures on horseback around the country. Orig. published in 1921, this is one of the reprint editions from Saalfield, in 255 pages with frontispiece & 3 internal illustrations, AND its original DJ! With deep red cloth-covered boards embossed with a black design & lettering, this book is in VG+ condition: very clean, binding straight & strong, but front hinge is cracked & rear one is loosening. Pages are heavily tanned, commensurate with age & paper quality, but unmarked. The unclipped DJ is vividly colored, but downgraded to VG- due to slight edgewear all around, including some small chips & creases. Looks lovely protected in Free mylar cover! Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping if ordered by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next day.…
