Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by constant power struggles, tantrums, and the heartache of wondering how to discipline your children without compromising your Christian values?
Many Christian parents face the daily challenge of balancing unconditional love with the need for firm, effective discipline. When every misbehavior leaves you scrambling for a quick fix that only deepens your frustration, it's hard to know where to turn.
In Grace Based Discipline, bestselling parenting coach Karis Kimmel Murray dives deep into the real issues Christian parents face.
Drawing on the timeless truth of Hebrews 12:6—“The Lord disciplines the one he loves”—Karis offers a practical, faith-rooted roadmap to restore calm and bring order into your home, even when your child’s behavior pushes you to your limits.
Inside, you'll find guidance on:
- Staying Calm Under Pressure: Learn how to maintain your composure when your child’s defiance or tantrums leave you feeling overwhelmed.
- Customizing Discipline: Discover tailored strategies that honor your child’s unique personality and needs while aligning with God’s priorities.
- Setting Biblical Boundaries: Replace fleeting, self-made rules with a family code of conduct grounded in Scripture and divine wisdom.
- Implementing Lasting Consequences: Adopt effective, loving consequences that foster genuine growth and respect.
Plus, the book includes two hands-on projects to bring these strategies to life:
- Kids Flag Page™: Understand your child’s God-given traits so you can adapt your approach to fit their unique "flag" or personality.
- DIY Rulebook™: Collaborate with your family to create a clear, customized set of rules that reflect your values and culture.
Grace Based Discipline isn’t about perfection—it’s about embracing a balanced, grace-filled approach to parenting that transforms chaos into opportunities for growth and deeper connection.
Start today, and turn everyday discipline challenges into stepping stones for a thriving, peaceful family life.

About the Author
Karis Kimmel Murray is the oldest daughter of Christian relationship expert and bestselling, award winning author Dr. Tim Kimmel.
Karis grew up in the family that was the proving ground for the philosophy that turned traditional Christian parenting advice on its head.
Her parent's radical message has helped transform relationships in tens of thousands of Christian families through her father's book Grace Based Parenting (R), as well as the Grace Based Parenting TM and Grace Filled Marriage training events and video studies.
Her debut book, Grace Based Discipine, builds on her family heritage and insider authority to shed light on what radical, grace-based disciplline looks like in a Gospel-centered home.
Her step-by-step, grace-based approach to discipline empowers parents to be at their best, even when their kids are at their worst.
As the Creative Director for Family Matters (R) (The ministry behind the "grace message"), Karis writes and speaks to a growing global audience to testify to the powerful influence grace-based parenting had on her upbringing, and as a parent now herself, why she and her husband are raising their daughters the same way.
With conversational style and humor, Karis connects with her readers and audiences on a heart level and swaps stories of trial and triumph . . . straight from the trenches of parenting.
Karis is the writer and co-host of the Family Matters Minute, a daily, one-minute radio segment heard by nearly 4.5 million people every weekday.
Karis and her husband Mike reside in Scottsdale, Arizona with their two teenage daughters and an ever-growing menagerie of pets.
