From the Inside Flap
Alexander (ex-Marine and bodybuilder) became Pac's "Chosen One"--his main bodyguard--essential to the daily welfare of hip hop's shining star. Alexander reveals an upclose and personal depiction of the young man with great talent and ambition and an insider's view of what went down on the night of Tupac's murder, while he was on duty.
Got Your Back takes the reader behind the scenes of Death Row Records, Hollywood, and the fashion industry. no-holds barred, Alexander writes candidly (naming names) of the business dealings, loyalties, enemies, women, parties, drugs and violence that permeated this "glamorous" world. He explains how such strong individuals from Suge Knight in Tupac Shakur got caught up in the hysteria of it all. Run with the "Pac" as Frank Alexander takes us behind the scenes of the hedonistic lifestyle of this rap icon whose untimely death turned him into a legend.
