125, [10]pp. Laminated stiff card covers with French flaps. 8vo. Covers are shelf worn, gently rubbed on edges and a little sunned over the spine. Hint of aging to page faces else volume is neat, clean and tight. The Gospel of St Thomas, a non-canonical Christian sayings Gospel, discovered in Egypt in 1945 among a collection of books known as the Nag Hammadi Library. Some scholars have seen it as evidence of a Q Source. This volume includes other complementary texts such as The Gnostic Transmission, The Mystery of Christos, Song of the Pearl etc.
