About the Authors

Brett Hoffstadt enjoyed his career for two decades as an aerospace engineer and project manager. It includes three patents for aviation devices. Then he directed his creative energies and his passion for inspiring future STEM professionals into writing and publishing books. His first book, published in 2014, was "How To Be a Rocket Scientist: 10 Powerful Tips to Enter the Aerospace Field and Launch the Career of Your Dreams."Since then he has created and published dozens of books for adults and children on STEM and STEAM topics such as drones, smart cities, cyber security, space exploration, Tesla automobiles, and SpaceX. The children's books are puzzle, activity, and game books on these modern topics. Brett Hoffstadt currently lives in northern California with his wife, two children, and a variable number of four-legged pets.

Steve Tanaka has the shared goal with Brett Hoffstadt of encouraging children to excel in school, with the belief that through education their dreams of space travel and living on the Moon can come to fruition.After a 33-year career at Boeing as a trade show manager, Steve found the perfect opportunity to "give back" to the community and pursue his interest as a storyboard and concept artist. Steve is also a drawing instructor and a volunteer for the blind. He enjoys helping others maximize their talents and discover hidden opportunities through drawing. He resides in Southern California with his wife.

Effects of cancellation
