No one could have guessed the story that was about to be written when Alan Graham surrendered his life to Jesus on June 3, 1980. At twenty-seven years of age, he had no hope, no purpose and no life; his marriage was in disarray and his alcohol-saturated world was spiralling out of control. That day, everything changed. So began an adventure of faith and service as Alan quickly discovered his life was meant for something more glorious than serving himself. From a surrendered heart, he committed his life to serve the One who had saved him, carrying His Good News to anyone who would listen.
The heart of this book is about going to those who haven’t heard, giving them the chance to hear the Good News of Jesus, taste the love of Heaven, and experience the grace of God. As you’ll discover, going is not just for experts or the super-talented – it is for all those who have received God’s saving love through faith. The world still needs people to go.
