Where do you look when you need a prayer for insomnia? For a divorced Catholic? For a parish minister? What about a prayer after a natural disaster? Or a miscarriage? Here you will find beautiful, meaningful prayers for all the people of your parish: For the living, the working, the unemployed, the victimized, the lonely, the weary, and the sick. For altar servers and athletes; police officers and world leaders; for hospital stays and first days of school; for fighting cancer and for peace in the world. With language that is personal and deeply spiritual, each prayer is perfectly suited for public liturgies, parish meetings and bulletins, or simply private devotion. This is the book to keep and share for whenever someone asks, "Do you have a prayer for.?" Book jacket.
