From the Author
Going Indigo is a book about the people I know. Strange people who live their every waking hour by the advice they obtain from fortune tellers, the dead and signs. This can lead people to do very odd things and sometimes absurdly daring things, but these people exist, they survive and they are more alive than many. The fact that many of them are in my own family can only tell you that I had a very peculiar start in life, the dead are just other family members. Oliver is a child who has already suffered more than most and thrown into this adult world where he too will begin to discover his 'other worldly' capabilities. If you have any interest in the psychic world then this book might interest you, if you just like to read about people who enjoy life and find ways to survive it, then this book is for you too. Above all, I wrote it for all the people I love and so far they are still talking to me... Who am I? I teach professional writing at Falmouth College in rainy Cornwall and this is my fifth published novel. The others lie dying in libraries or dusty landfills but occasionally you might run across a copy of 'The Curse of the Nibelung' or 'Eeny Meeny Miny Mole' (both by my alter ego Marcel D'Agneau) or even 'Ramapo' or '209 Thriller Road' by Sam North. Sometimes you think you are reading me, but you aren't, you have picked up the other Sam North's books and if you are feeling depressed after reading them, blame him, not me, mine are the funny ones.... (well I hope they are) That's it, happy reading.
