Probably one of very few copies of this fascinating report; 150 p., clean and unmarked anywhere except for a tiny smudge on front of light-blue wrapper; many photos and diagrams. As can be imagined the author, a very distinguished physicist, was focused on scientific development during the Yeltsin years, but he was also fascinated by the personalities of the people he met, and pleasantly surprised by their attractiveness and charm. He comments on customs, jokes, political opinions, cultural events, economic conditions, attitudes toward Jews, and other things he found interesting.
