When you ask people this question, you usually get many different answers. Some see God as an authoritarian leader or dictator, others see Him as aloof and distant. Still, others see Him as a father figure concerned with even the smallest details of their lives. Whatever your view of God may be, it matters.
In God Is For You, David Blunt explains that in order for God to do the good things He wants to do in your life, you must have the right perspective of Him. Through his practical and personable teaching style, David reminds us that God truly is good and wants the best for His children.
“The way we think about God greatly affects the way we live and relate to Him. In God Is For You, my friend David Blunt challenges us to reconsider our view of God, proving that these four words ‘God is for you’ are more than a positive thought or a theological concept—they’re a beacon of hope in the midst of fear, uncertainty, and chaos.”
—John Bevere, Best-Selling Author and Cofounder of Messenger International
“In a day of a superabundance of frightening, weird, and negative news, my friend David Blunt has created a holistic prescription of godly good news that encourages, corrects, and edifies us to be better than ever! It is a clear message full of light for a dark world.”
—Bishop Dale C. Bronner, DMin, Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Cathedral
“This book will give you open doors to live the life that God promised, a life of abundance in spite of all the things the world throws at us. It will be a life-changing experience as you apply these truths that God has given us: He is for us and always has been and always will be.”
—Dr. Marilyn Hickey, Marilyn Hickey Ministries
If you feel hopeless, if you feel abandoned, if you feel the universe is against you, it’s time for you to really discover who God is. When you understand that GOD IS FOR YOU, your whole life will change!
David Blunt and his wife, Kim, are the pastors of Church on the Rock in St. Peters, Missouri. Pastor Blunt’s insights into God’s Word challenge and inspire believers to grow in their relationship with God and their service to others.
