Set against the vibrant, unforgiving landscape of 1960s rural South India, The God of my House - A Forsaken Womb is a poignant saga of duty, sacrifice, and enduring love. Sreeni, an ambitious schoolmaster, finds his dreams derailed when forced to marry Kaveri, an illiterate village girl. As they navigate the suffocating pressures of agrarian tradition, their bond deepens, only to be tested by Kaveri's heartbreaking inability to conceive.

When tragedy strikes their closest friends, they adopt a brilliant orphaned boy, Arun. Raising him to break the cycle of poverty, they send him to the city, and eventually America, to reach the stars. But when a senseless act of violence shatters Arun's bright future, Sreeni must bear a crushing, secretive burden to protect his wife's failing heart. Rishiraj Hebbar weaves a cinematic, deeply emotional tale of a family forging hope and an immortal legacy from the ashes of unimaginable grief.
