About the Authors:

Andrew Caddell has worked as a reporter and broadcaster as well as for the federal government and the UN. He plays old-timers' hockey twice a week, and is a sometime goaltender.

Dave Stubbs, for many years a columnist and sportswriter with the Montreal Gazette, now writes an online column and serves as historian-in-residence for NHL.com.
