Synopsis:

Confession, Penance, Reconciliation. The ancient Sacrament of Penance is called many names but has one purpose the forgiveness of sins. Many Catholics and other Christians are at best uncertain as to the need for confession, and many are anxious at the idea of sharing their sins with a priest. In this much-needed book, Fr. Mitch Pacwa and Sean Brown put all the confusion and anxiety to rest by answering the most common questions and objections to this indispensable sacrament.

As humans, we have an innate desire to be at peace. Sin destroys this peace, leaving the soul in a weak and deprived state. In Go In Peace, the authors demonstrate that, through the power of confession, one is freed from the burden of sin and brought to peace with God and himself.

About the Author: Fr. Mitchell Pacwa, S.J. received his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Detroit, summa cum laude. He received his Master of Divinity and S.T.B. from the Jesuit School of Theology of Loyola University, magna cum laude. He has taught at the High School, University and Seminary levels. He has lectured at conferences and churches around the world and has appeared and hosted hundreds of international radio and television programs. His fluency in twelve languages and his extensive travels throughout the Middle East have afforded him a unique understanding of the peoples and cultures of the Middle East.
