What if the Christianity that survived was only one part of a much larger spiritual world?
Beyond the familiar canon lies a landscape of secret sayings, disputed revelations, forgotten communities, alternative accounts of Christ, and ancient visions of the soul’s destiny. The Gnostic Gospels Complete Collection leads you along five paths through the forgotten landscape of early Christianity.
Expanded and revised in June 2026, this edition now features 21 early Christian texts and traditions, together with an Online Audio Companion.
For readers who want one clear, comprehensive modern introduction to the Gnostic Gospels, everything you need is gathered here.
PART ONE — THE LOST GOSPELS
Encounter alternative traditions surrounding Jesus, Mary Magdalene, divine knowledge, spiritual authority, and the Kingdom within. Includes The Gospel of Thomas, The Gospel of Mary, The Gospel of Philip, The Gospel of Judas, The Gospel of Peter, The Gospel of Truth, The Secret Gospel of Mark, The Egerton Gospel, and The Sayings Source Q.
PART TWO — THE NAG HAMMADI REVELATIONS
Enter a world of hidden revelation, divine Wisdom, cosmic rulers, humanity’s spiritual origin, and the soul’s return to its heavenly source. Includes The Secret Book of John, The Dialogue of the Savior, The Sophia of Jesus Christ, and The Acts of Peter and the Twelve Apostles.
PART THREE — INFANCY AND PASSION TRADITIONS
Discover the stories that developed around the childhood of Jesus, the early life of Mary, the trial before Pilate, the resurrection, and Christ’s descent into the realm of the dead. Includes The Infancy Gospel of Thomas, The Infancy Gospel of James, and The Gospel of Nicodemus.
PART FOUR — JEWISH-CHRISTIAN GOSPEL FRAGMENTS
Explore the surviving traces of communities that followed Jesus while remaining rooted in Jewish law and scripture. Includes traditions commonly associated with The Gospel of the Hebrews, The Gospel of the Nazarenes, and The Gospel of the Ebionites.
PART FIVE — VISIONS OF THE AFTERLIFE
Journey through ancient Christian visions of paradise, judgment, punishment, mercy, heaven, hell, and the fate of souls. Includes The Apocalypse of Peter and The Apocalypse of Paul.
The twenty-one writings and traditions gathered in this collection do not form a single hidden Bible, nor do they offer one alternative version of Christianity. Together, they preserve remarkable windows into the questions, beliefs, visions, and spiritual worlds of the earliest Christian centuries.
