“The Gnosis of the Mind” is one of the most profound and inspiring texts of spirituality and gnosis. What is Gnosis? Why is it called the Religion of the Mind? What is the mystery of mysteries? What is the mind and what is its role? Does it oppose the heart? How is enlightenment or awakening achieved through Gnosis?

An essential book for those who seek to understand gnosis and the Mysteries of the Mind, the Soul, and the Self!

WHAT IS THE GNOSIS OF THE MIND?

George R. S. Mead introduces us to the “Mystery of mysteries”: the Mind. The Mind is the divine principle that seeks itself through the soul and the body. The center of being and the key to spiritual realization.

The Mind is not only that which knows, but also the object of all knowledge — it creates itself in order to know itself, and to know itself it must first not know itself. It is the Great Initiator, the Master of all wisdom and also of all ignorance.

For Mead, Gnosis is not a doctrine or a religion, not a cult of intellect, but a path of inner transformation in which the soul awakens to its divine origin through the harmonious union of body, soul, and mind. This awakening is not a mere intellectual act but a living process that includes inner knowledge and self-initiation into the Mysteries of God.

A MASTERPIECE OF SPIRITUALITY AND GNOSIS

A faithful re-edition of The Gnosis of the Mind, a work included in the Echoes from the Gnosis collection written by George Robert Stow Mead in 1906. Illustrated Edition.

The Gnosis of the Mind is a book of gnosis and spirituality. A spiritual quest for when religion or science fail to satisfy. Gnosis is the knowledge and experience of God.

Mead suggests that the human being is a world unto itself — a microcosm destined to reunite with the Whole. Gnosis is the process by which consciousness overcomes ignorance through self-knowledge, leading to the Gnosis of God, where the soul, consciousness, and mind recognize themselves as children of the divine Mind.
