Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, dark yellow cloth boards show spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. There's a couple small tears to the cloth at the top of the spine as well. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues even at the boards. Pages are toned due to age and there are a couple foxing spots and smudge marks present. Please note: this is an ex-library copy, although from the 19th century. The front pastedown contains a label stating this was part of the Girard College Library of Philadelphia. There is also an oval stamping on the title page states this in the number 5454 stamped at the bottom of the first preface page, which may be just from the publisher and not associated with the college. No other markings found in the book, no signatures, no underlining, nothing torn or loose.
