Print on Demand. This book is an immersive journey into 15th-century Milan, where the lives of its citizens intertwine amidst political upheaval and the pursuit of justice. The narrative delves into the schemes of the tyrannical Duke Filippo Maria Visconti, whose court is plagued by plots and assassinations. The story follows the noble jurist Pietro Piatto, whose quest for a free and just Milan contrasts with the oppressive rule of the duke. As tragedy strikes, Piatto's family becomes the target of a sinister conspiracy, and his son, Giorgio, vows to unravel the secrets behind his father's murder and avenge his death. Through its rich cast of characters and intricate historical backdrop, this book explores the complexities of justice, the indomitable spirit of those who fight against tyranny, and the enduring power of love and resilience in the face of adversity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
