A truly heartwarming holiday story of hope, gratitude and charity, about two little mice who find themselves homeless and hungry due to a horrible winter storm just before Christmas. Join these adorable mice in this sweet little tale as they discover that no matter how dark things may be, with some faith and the power of prayer, amazing and wonderful things can still happen! A Christian Christmas story sure to become a classic that the whole family can enjoy together for generations.
Little do they know what wonderful blessings are in-store for them, as Leroy and Libby discover the joy that comes from giving to others who are in need. Not only do they discover the true meaning of charity, but they also learn their love for one another is far more valuable than anything they could ever own. This touching and thoughtful Christian tale offers an excellent way for adults to help children gain insight into what the Christmas season is truly about, while still celebrating Santa and all the wonderfully fun holiday traditions we all know and love, while keeping an entirely faith-based focus at the same time.
So much more than just a sweet story, plus it even comes with a delightful activity - a delicious, easy to follow recipe is included so everyone can join in the fun by creating and enjoying their very own Gingerbread cookies, making this book an ideal gift for building a sweet family tradition!

- Lately, news reports are filled with disasters brought about by fires, floods and tornadoes. Imagine finding your family homeless, especially at Christmas! I wrote THE GINGERBREAD HOUSE, to remind us all that what's most important isn't the building we live in, but rather the love that fills it, that Christmas should be less about presents and more about presence, that charity is a blessing for the giver as well as the receiver and, lastly to encourage everyone that no matter how dark or scary life may seem, with faith and prayer amazing and wonderful things can still happen!
